For the 2025 season, the Aquasplash Water Park in Lignano Sabbiadoro is ready to present a new product that will delight the little ones: the Castle Playground “Korsan”. This project, developed and realized by Slide Srl, has been thought to satisfy the needs of entertainment of the little ones, offering an exclusive and safe area for the game.
The castle is equipped with 5 water slides, three ladders, as well as various splashes and games that rotate around the castle, giving the children the opportunity to diversify the various descents around the attraction.

The Aquasplash of Lignano Sabbiadoro

Aquasplash is one of the most historic water parks in Italy, inaugurated in the early ’80s thanks to the entrepreneur Sergio Vacondio. The park covers a vast area of over 35,000 square meters, offering a variety of water games and attractions.

In recent years the facility has undertaken a renovation process, with the aim of introducing more modern and innovative attractions. Among the main interventions is the renovation of the area dedicated to children, called “Kids Zone”, indicated by number 27 on the map. In this area will be replaced the old “mushroom”, an attraction installed years ago by another company.

In 2023, Slide has already built a new attraction for Aquasplash: the Super Space Bowl with inflatables, which was a huge success among visitors.

Project approved and forthcoming

The final approval of the project has recently been confirmed, and work will start on 12 January 2025. The installation will be carried out directly on site, within one of the lagoons in the park, to allow a harmonious integration with the surrounding aquatic environment.

The Castle Playground “Korsan” is a structure designed for children from 6 years old, designed to ensure maximum fun in total safety. This is an attraction exclusively for children, where adults will not be able to enter. It will allow children to explore and play freely in a dedicated environment.

Investment in renewal

The new playground water castle will replace the old “mushroom”, marked with number 27 on the map, an attraction installed several years ago by another company. The project represents an investment of around 250.000 euro by the park’s owner. Although it is not a large investment compared to other attractions, it brings a significant improvement in the area dedicated to young children and boys, which until now lacked a similar structure.

This new installation will not only improve the offer for families with children, but also contribute to renew and enrich the image of the park, keeping it competitive in a sector in constant evolution.

The “Korsan” Castle was designed to offer a safe and immersive gaming experience. Children will have fun in a themed structure located within a lagoon, which will simulate the adventurous environment of pirates, stimulating their imagination and creativity.

The new attraction is scheduled to open on 30 March 2025, just in time for the spring season. With the addition of the water castle playground, the Aquasplash Park once again confirms its commitment to the constant renewal of its facilities, aiming to meet the needs of all age groups.
